Illumina is a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of life science tools and integrated systems for large-scale analysis of genetic variation and function. Since its founding in 1998, the company went through a tremendous growth (2009 Forbes #1 in the top 25 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies in the United States) and evolution.

Challenge

Illumina selected us to assist them with the “soft” launch of their consumer genomics solutions.

Solution

We developed ad concepts to create awareness and provide education at the consumer level, on the availability of consumer sequencing (full genome).

Result

Illumina published the selected concept in the The Economist as a first phase of the campaign.
