Sony Corporation of America’s consumer electronics unit makes and markets products to tap into Sony’s music, films, games, and other businesses. The electronics arm sells PCs (the Sony VAIO) and their peripherals, as well as TVs, DVD and MP3 players, digital cameras, camcorders, CD players, and car audio systems. The company is also a retailer and operates about 50 Sony Style retail shops in the US.

Challenge

In the relatively new / fast changing market of home media centers and media convergence, Sony is attempting to pull viewers towards the TV set and away from the computer for video streaming. Its first attempt is the BRAVIA® Internet Video Link.
